The Board of Directors will meet Saturday, 5 July, 2008, 7 PM at the home of Cindi Dupuis.

Effective 1 July, 2008, Memory Lakes Estates One will be managed by Uli Johnson of Double Eagle Real Estate. Ms. Johnson has over 30 years of experience in Valley real estate. When the Board solicted bids for Association management from association management companies, her bid was the lowest. This new management arrangement will incorporate the ending of our telephone service. All telephone calls to the Association should be directed to Uli Johnson at Double Eagle Real Estate at 357-1770 (FAX: 357-1771). The Association mailing address will remain the same. Among the responsibilities Ms. Johnson will assume is the annual billing for annual dues of the Association. Expect to receive an invoice for your annual dues of $35.00 for 2008 and for any dues owed from prior years before the end of August.

 

RE: PARADISE PARK--The Board of Directors continues to oppose this development by following the legal appeal procedures. We are working carefully with our attorney, Brad DeNoble, to prevent the proposed development of Paradise Park as the developer has proposed. While the Matanuska-Susitna Borough may favor approval of the development, surrounding property owners do not. The property owner appears to be making visits to Association members' homes telling them that the Board is being sued, that the resistance of the Board to the development will not be successful, that the development will not threaten water supplies nor septic systems. These assertions are all false.
